Who we are . . .
Jeanne's childhood dream was to become a teacher or a detective, but the teaching profession prevailed as both her mother and grandmother were educators. She pursued an academic path that led her to earn a B.A. in English Education with minors in Math and Theatre Arts from the University of Northern Colorado. Jeanne's commitment to learning didn't stop there, as she later obtained an A.A.S. in Architectural Engineering and an M.Ed. in Adult Education. Her unwavering dedication to education is further evidenced by her aspiration to pursue a Ph.Ed. in Adult Education, specializing in learning transfer.
During childhood, Jeanne and her younger brother used to play "school," with Jeanne teaching him what she had learned. Being four and a half years younger, some subjects were initially challenging for him, but she’d like to think that he excelled in mental math early because of her.
Jeanne's professional journey has seen her take on diverse training roles, where she has imparted knowledge to a variety groups. Her experiences range from teaching neurodivergent adults to handle computer board parts, to facilitating seminars to educate customers on tiling techniques. Furthermore, she dedicated over seventeen years to teaching Architectural Engineering and Construction classes. Jeanne's approach to teaching emphasizes hands-on, student-centered methodologies, fostering effective learning experiences both inside and outside the traditional classroom setting.
